"Turtles All the Way Down" Book Review

I was never a huge fan of John Green in my teenage years, so I was surprised to find that I really loved his newest book. It was obviously very hyped up, and there's good reason.

Aza and her best friend Daisy unintentionally become involved in trying to solve the mystery of missing billionaire, Russell Pickett, which leads Aza to reconnect to her childhood friend, Davis, who also happens to be Russell's oldest son. Throughout all this, Aza struggles with her own grief and mental illnesses.

This book is best to go into knowing as little as possible. The plot really didn't appeals much to me when I heard it, but it is a lot of people's favorite book, which made me want to see what the hype was about.

I feel like this book does an amazing job representing mental illness (it's also an own-voices book) and also showing the struggles of relationships with friends and family and significant others for people who suffer from mental illness. I gave this book 4/5 stars.
