"Roomies" Book Review

Holland isn't sure what she wants to do with her life. She's graduated from college, but isn't doing anything with her degree. So instead she works for her uncle, who is a famous Broadway producer, and lives off her Uncles' money to live on her own in the city. Holland discovers an incredibly hot guitar player who plays in the subway every week and develops a crush on him before even meeting him. Holland's uncle is desperate for a lead for his new broadway musical and Holland suggests the subway performer. Unfortunately, Holland and her uncle discover the hot performer, Calvin, is in America illegally and therefore cannot take the job. Until Holland comes up with the great idea to marry Calvin so he can follow his dreams.

This book was so good! I honestly loved it. I was really invested in the story and thought it was a super cute romance. I also felt like I really related to the main character and her struggles of finding her role as an adult.

The only issue I had with the book is it seemed things came a little too easy to the main character and there wasn't a lot of struggle for her. I rated this book 4.5/5 stars.
