"Wake of Vultures" book review

This is the first in a fantasy western series that follows Nettie Lonesome, a young girl who discovers that supernatural creatures exist when she is attacked by a vampire one night. After Nettie discovers this whole new world filled with the supernatural, she dedicates her life to hunting these creatures and making her world a safer place.

I seriously loved this book! It was very original and action-packed. I loved the characters and the friendships. I also thoroughly enjoyed the different issues covered in this book and the realizations Nettie comes to about herself and her gender throughout the book.
