"Fierce Kingdom" book review

In October, I really wanted to read thrillers and horror books, so I decided to start with this one and it did not disappoint.

This book was intense and I definitely didn't know what to expect going into it.

It's not a long book and it only takes place in the span of a couple of hours, which made it a fast read for me.

Joan and her four year old son are at the zoo, just like any other day. But as they are leaving the zoo, Joan finds out today is not like any other day. There is something happening in the zoo that makes it impossible for Joan to escape with her son, so now she must hide and hope that she makes it through the night alive. This book looks at how far a mother will go to protect her child and the choices we make in order to survive.
